Alpha is a welcoming, no-pressure space designed for anyone curious about the Christian faith. You’ll explore the big questions of life, faith, and meaning through films and honest, small-group discussion over several weeks.
There’s no charge or commitment, and no question is too simple. Following the success of our 2025 courses, we are excited to continue offering this vital journey in the year ahead.

Meet Pastor Alex van Rooi: Our Youth and Discipleship Leader.
Pastor Alex van Rooi leads our vibrant Youth Ministry with passion and purpose. He is also the driving force behind the Young Adults Life Group and guides candidates through the Confirmation process. Beyond these leadership roles, Alex occasionally preaches in the main church and actively participates in the Men’s Fellowship and other church volunteer activities.

Meet Ayanda Nenemba: Leading Our Children’s Ministry.
Ayanda Nenemba is the vibrant leader of our Children’s Ministry, overseeing both Sunday School and our popular, community-wide Holiday Club. The Holiday Club, offered during the winter recess, provides a fun, faith-filled experience open to all children in Midstream and surrounding areas. Ayanda occasionally shares her spiritual insight by preaching at our main services.
